What to Expect with Professional Search Engine Optimization

There are two things that everyone should know about getting ranked in the search engines and what this means.

  1. Over 70% of individuals searching online use search engines first.
  2. Less than 50% of websites have SEO incorporated into their website.

If you look at these particular statistics, you will probably realize the same thing I did.  There is either a lot of room for improvement, or for change that doesn’t for the SEO.  If you are trying to get ahead of your competitors; however, then I would strongly recommend that you go back to the old tried and true technique of professional search engine optimization.

From my experience, it is best to look into professional search engine optimization by those who have the knowledge and the track record.  When you are beginning, you should be able to define your target market and others that are a part of the marketing initiative.  You will want to combine this with finding your way to the top of search engines with very specific keywords.  Any professional should be able to show you how to work your way to the top while getting the right results for your website.

You want to keep in mind that true, professional search engine optimization also holds the key of the search engine algorithms.  This is inclusive of the amount of traffic you get, links to your website and to the keywords that are optimized on your website.  Making sure that the professional search engine optimization keeps these in place also guarantees better placement of your website.

If you want to work your way to the top, then considering professional search engine optimization is one of the first techniques that guarantee results.  Knowing how to approach this option and what is expected as a result also provides you with the best options for getting ahead of your competition and connecting to others that are on the web.

Does Your Graphic Design Serve You?

I love running into websites that have these great, huge headers on the top in only lettering, followed by more information.  I also love running into the websites where the logo is taken from Google Images and pasted. Ok, I had no choice but to do that before, but I upgraded.  The graphic design in these scenarios is one that really needs to be reconsidered.

The problem with graphic design is that no one realizes the heavy importance that it has on your brand identity.  If you have a graphic or logo, you really want to make sure that it adds up to what your business stands for.  First, it is the first thing that anyone sees when they visit your website.  Second, it is something that makes a strong statement or sense of communication about who you are.  If you don’t have this icon peering out from everywhere on the web in a way that is unique and professional, then you can also kiss your clients goodbye.

The main point is to make sure that your graphic design serves you.  That means that it does the following:
-         represents your business
-         has a professional look
-         attracts potential customers
-         stands out from the writing
-         stands out from the competition
-         says everything you would want to, in one image or less

If you don’t feel that your graphic design is serving these purposes, then it is going to be ineffective.  Customers will glance at you then click the other way.  Making sure that you represent yourself, create a strong appeal and stand out from the crowd can change that bad look into one that states high fashion with your business.
